  • Word Substitution

    As not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.  This was a famous from John F. Kennedy, but my mother had her own take on it.  When we were in school she would substitute "school" for "country."   And, when we went to work she would substitute "employer" for "country."  It gave us a new way to think about our relationship and effort in school and at work.Melissa
